My Pilates journey began 9 years ago! I am an equestrian at heart but when I lost my sweet mare “Roxie” I needed something else for a while, little did I know that “a while” would turn into 9 plus years. I have now taken over 1500 classes and I am in my second year of teaching. Professionally I come from a hands on nursing and teaching background. I received my BSN from Emory University. While working at Emory Hospital for Children (Egleston) I met my husband Andy. He was a surgical intern. We have spent our last 44 years together and raised 4 children and they have given us 7 precious grandchildren. During the time our children were growing I taught Lamaze Childbirth Classes. I loved teaching patients and now I love teaching clients Pilates on the reformer. This is so much fun and such rewarding work! I believe in this program, I know first hand how it works for everyone and I really love working with the staff and the clients at Core Innov8tions.
